Hi There,

I'm Alex.

I have Cerebral Palsy, and am in a powerchair.

I’m from Winnipegosis, Manitoba, Canada.

Karen is an integral part of my life and to WILLPOWER MEDIA.

We have known each other for 16 years and been through it all together.

Without her love, care and compassion, my life would be empty of any success. I owe Karen everything.

She is very talented at many things but editing my writing and videos, are definitely at the top of the list.

Karen is a person that sees, the positive in everything and allows me to truly be myself.

Together, we’ll continue to break barriers and show society that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

Being an accomplished writer, I've written two books, which are yet to be published. As well, I’m a freelance writer.

Also, I’ve earned my Business Administration and Applied Counselling certificates.

For 3 seasons, I was the video coach, for the u18 AAA Parkland Rangers Hockey Club. It was fantastic With me being physically disabled, it is very important to show society, that we ALL can be involved in the game, no matter what.

I have started my very own company.  WILLPOWER MEDIA! I want to show society that we always have to push and understand ourselves. I’ve had a life of struggle and obstacles but also goal reaching and motivation.

Being a disability advocate, is something I take tremendous pride in. I’ll always continue to push and stand up, for the closing of disability related gaps.  If it’s the government at any level or society as a whole, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done, in achieving the goal of disability inclusion.

While disability focused advocacy is and will always be a great passion of mine, being an ambassador is also at my life’s forefront.

I’m the adult ambassador for Manitoba Possible.  The organization, have played a critical role in the person I’ve become and it’s a true honour to represent them.

In the past, I would be ashamed of my voice and speech impairment. Not anymore.

Becoming a Voiceitt ambassador, allows me to be part of a fantastic company that helps provide speech recognition, for people of all speech verities.

In addition to all of this, I’m the host, of the social media sensation “CAN I COME IN”

It's my goal to show the world, how to embrace their own WILLPOWER and individual possibilities.

Its my goal, to show the world how to embrace, their own WILLPOWER and individual possibilities.

Talk soon,
